Regional Assistant

Preparing and dismantling our accommodations to training, supervising and motivating the campsite employees. You’ll be managing your own region that has between 7 and 13 campsites, as you will be managing the campsite employees and the quality of service of the Selectcamp product as a whole. A position that offers exciting challenges, but also the chance of a lifetime!

In the position of Regional Assistant you’ll be working for a period of over 8,5 months in your assigned region. Your job starts with a training period in February provided by your direct supervisor, to prepare you for the job at hand. You’ll be residing on 1 of the campsites in your area in a Selectcamp mobile home.

As Regional Assistant you are responsible for;

  • overseeing the setting up of tents and managing the temporary team during the set-up period (March – May)
  • driving your campsite employees from the airport to the campsites and vice versa
  • providing training for campsite employees with regard to the standards and procedures of Selectcamp
  • preparing the campsite employees for the arrival of guests
  • supervising and motivating the campsite employees
  • safeguarding the quality of service and the consistency of the Selectcamp formula
  • periodically visiting the campsites in your region to work with the team, evaluate the current processes and to provide assistance and suggestions for improvement where necessary
  • acting as a trusted person and troubleshooter
  • taking care of any complaints
  • overseeing the disassembly of the tents and managing the temporary disassembly team during the disassembly period (September – November)
  • leaving the Selectcamp accommodations on the campsites behind according to procedure

As Regional Assistant you have;

  • several years of relevant work experience
  • an affinity with leadership (requirement)
  • excellent knowledge of the English languages
  • a valid driver’s licence
